FAQ: Your Top 4 Questions About Custom Tubes

Q1: Are the Sugarcane tubes and caps 100% recyclable?

Yes, they are recyclable. Since our Sugarcane tubes are chemically the same as standard plastic (PE), you can throw them in the standard recycling bin (Code #2 or #4).

A Note on "100% Plant-Based": If you are asking about the material source, there is a small difference:

  • The Tube Body: It is 100% Sugarcane PE. It's completely plant-based.

  • The Cap: Currently, it is about 50% Sugarcane blended with standard plastic.

    • Why? Because 100% plant-based caps are often too soft. We add the blend to make sure the cap clicks shut perfectly and doesn't break. But don't worry—the whole package is still fully recyclable.

Q2: Can we change the Flip-Top cap to a Screw Cap?

Yes, absolutely. It is very common to switch between them. You don't need to change the main mold for the tube body.

  • How it works: We simply ensure the tube neck (threads) matches the cap you choose.

  • Flexibility: Since we have standard molds for both styles, you can easily choose a Flip-Top for a hand cream (convenience) or a Screw Cap for a lip balm (premium look) on the same size tube. We handle the technical matching for you.

Q3: Can we split the 10,000 MOQ into two different products (5,000 + 5,000)?

Yes, we can help with this. Usually, factories require 10,000 units per design because setting up the printing machine takes a long time.

However, we can be flexible if:

  1. The Artworks are Similar: If the two designs share the same tube color and cap color.

  2. The Printing is Simple: For example, simple silk screen text.

If your design fits these criteria, we are happy to split the run into two SKUs of 5,000 each to support your brand launch.

Q4: Can we get samples of a 25mm diameter tube with a 2mm hole?

Yes, this is a standard specification.

  • Ø25mm Diameter: This is a perfect size for lip balms (10ml-15ml) or eye creams. It fits easily in a pocket.

  • 2mm Orifice (Hole): This is the standard hole size for most lotions and gels. It controls the flow well so the product doesn't squirt out too fast.

Next Step: Just let us know your shipping address, and we can send these standard samples to you immediately.
