You have your tube design ready. You send it to us. We send back a quote asking: "Do you want Offset or Silk Screen?"

And you pause. Usually, Offset is cheaper. But Silk Screen looks more premium. If you are a startup with a limited budget, which one should you choose?

The answer isn't just about the price tag—it depends entirely on your artwork. Here is the honest breakdown.

Contender 1: Silk Screen (The "Texture" King)

How it works: Imagine a stencil. Ink is pushed through a mesh screen onto the tube.

• The Look: The ink layer is thick. You can feel it with your finger. It’s opaque, bold, and solid.

• The Cost Reality:

  • It is charged per color.

  • 1 Color = Affordable.

  • 5 Colors = Very Expensive (because we need 5 separate screens and 5 passes).

When is it the "Best Value"? If you have a Minimalist Design (e.g., just a bold logo and text on a colored tube).

• Why? A simple 1-color Silk Screen print on a matte tube looks like a luxury $50 product. It offers the highest "Perceived Value" for a low cost.

Contender 2: Offset Printing (The "Detail" Master)

How it works: It’s like a magazine printer. Ink is transferred from plates to a rubber blanket, then to the tube.

• The Look: The ink is thin and smooth. It feels flat.

  • It is extremely efficient for Multi-color designs.

  • Silk Screen: Perfect. The ink is thick enough to cover the black background.
